ERPNext Consulting

ERPNext consulting covers everything involved in moving a business onto a real ERP: analyzing how the operation actually works, configuring ERPNext to match it, customizing where the standard system ends, and training the team so the system survives the consultant leaving.

An ERP is not software you install — it is a set of business decisions made concrete. Implemented carelessly, ERPNext becomes a new silo; implemented deliberately, it becomes the single place where orders, stock, accounting and people meet.

Who this is for: Growing companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected tools — especially trading, manufacturing and service businesses with real inventory, invoicing and HR needs.

What you get

  • Implementation planning and business process mapping
  • Core configuration: accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, CRM
  • HR and payroll setup, leave and attendance workflows
  • Manufacturing: BOMs, work orders and production planning
  • Custom fields, print formats, workflows and small customizations
  • Integrations with WooCommerce, payment gateways and other systems
  • Hosting, backups and upgrades (self-hosted or managed)
  • Training and long-term support

Where this helps

Numbers that never quite agree

When stock lives in one tool and invoices in another, reconciliation eats days every month. ERPNext unifies them so the numbers are one number.

Processes that only exist in someone’s head

Documenting and encoding workflows into the ERP makes the business less fragile — leave approvals, sales orders and procurement stop depending on memory.

A stalled ERP project

An ERP rollout that got stuck halfway is common and recoverable. The first step is an honest assessment of what works, what does not, and what is worth keeping.

What the work looks like

  1. Discovery: how the business operates today, in its own words
  2. Solution design: which ERPNext modules map to which processes
  3. Configuration and data migration from the current systems
  4. Customization only where the standard product genuinely falls short
  5. Pilot with real transactions, then go-live with the team trained
  6. Ongoing support as the business and the ERP evolve

What it runs on

ERPNext, Frappe framework, Python, MariaDB, REST API, self-hosted or managed deployment on VPS infrastructure.

Questions people ask

Is ERPNext really free?

The software is open source and free to self-host. Real costs come from implementation, hosting and training — and they are far lower than the license fees of comparable commercial ERPs.

Can ERPNext connect to my WooCommerce store?

Yes — orders, stock levels and customers can sync between WooCommerce and ERPNext through its REST API. That is one of the most common integrations we build.

How long does an implementation take?

A focused implementation for a small business typically runs weeks, not months — the variable is data quality and how many processes must be redesigned before they can be encoded.

What happens after go-live?

Support arrangements are agreed before go-live: response times, update handling and a plan for the adjustments that only become visible once real work flows through the system.
